FAQ's

How do I get my florals to you?

Clients are responsible for the cost of shipping your florals as well as the finished product shipping unless available for local pickup/dropoff. Please have your florals arrive within 3-4 days of your event as we will reject molded florals.

What is your Refund Policy?

Unfortunately due to the customization of each piece, we do not currently offer any refunds. If you are unsatisfied with your product please reach out to our company to try and accommodate.

Can you preserve all flowers?

We can preserve most types of flowers! There are a few types that have proven to dry poorly such as berries and                 succulents.

Will my Flowers look the same as they did when they were fresh?

The process of preserving florals includes extracting the moisture rapidly to maintain the integrity of the florals.

Although we strive to keep the flowers as close to their natural color as possible, all flowers react differently including the possibility of becoming darker or lighter.

How long will my preservation last?

Your unique preservation should last decades! Unfortunately, all resin no matter the quality will yellow over time due to UV exposure. The good news is that with proper care your piece should last a very long time!

Can you preserve my flowers If they are already dried?

Absolutely! We are always willing to take a look at already dried florals for a potential project. Pre-dried arrangements limit the options for preservation styles as well as some shaping abilities. Again, we are always willing to take a look!

How do I keep my preservation looking it’s best?

Resin is a durable material that with proper care will last a lifetime! UV rays will cause all resin (no matter the quality) to yellow over time. To keep your project looking clear, please display your project out of direct sunlight as much as possible. To clean your project use a soft cloth to wipe dust off the surface, and a slightly damp cloth for any residue the surface may collect. Resin can be scratched easily such as plastic, so handle your project with care/ love!

How late is too late to book?

You can conviently place an order through our checkout option up to a day after your event!

Do you take on projects outside of the Chicago area?

Moments to Memories is a Chicago based company, but happily accept projects nationwide. Please keep in mind that clients are responsible for all shipping costs.

When should I expect to receive my preservation?

Preserving is a delicate process that takes time and patience. In order to ensure a quality product, we allow ourselves 8-12 weeks from the time of your event to ensure we have enough time for perfection.

Can I send personal items alongside my florals?

Please DO NOT send any personal items alongside your florals that have not been previously approved . If you have a special request please contact our team before booking. Any unexpected items will not be returned to you.

How do I keep my florals fresh during my event?

The better the condition we recieve your florals, the better your preservation will look. To aid your florals throughout your event please keep them in water as much as possible and cut the bottom of the stems when dry. DO NOT put your florals in the freezer as they will immediantly die. Keep your florals inside as much as possible if you are having an outdoor event. DO NOT cover your florals or stems with plastics such as grocery bags as the moisture will become trapped and mold your florals.
